How romantic! Justin Bieber, 20, teamed up with Cody Simpson, 17, to release one heck of a love song called, “Home To Mama” on Nov. 11! All signed point to the track being for Selena Gomez, 22! Check out the undeniable lyrics below!
Justin and Cody recorded “Home To Mama” together this past summer. On June 11, Cody tweeted, “chill studio session last night with @justinbieber. wrote a beautiful guitar track. able to relate when it comes to love & women. good sht!”
The same day, On Justin had Instagrammed a pic of him and a girl (probably Selena) hugging with the caption, “our love is Unconditional.”
If this isn’t proof enough that “Home To Mama” was definitely written as an ode to Selena, check out the lyrics:
I don’t work hard when its easy, I put in work when its hard, girl I never believed in love till I had yours
This is more than a season, and I’m not just sprung, I’m not afraid to tell ya, that you are the one
The one I wake up thinking bout , the one I can run to when I’m felling down, life is all good when you’re around, girl nobody from the past is beatin’ you right now
Cuz I’d take you home to momma, let you meet my friends, cuz you don’t come with drama, so I want you till the world ends, you’re way more than worth it, but I don’t feel like I deserve it, you got the pieces, you’re my kind of perfect
On Nov. 11, JB and Cody finally released the song they have been working on together and it was well worth the wait!
“Home To Mama” is a sweet acoustic ballad that features the perfect mix of Justin and Cody’s voices — they bounce off of each other in perfect harmony. Hopefully, this is not the last time we hear them singing together!
