It’s finally here! Eminem has released his much anticipated song, ‘Shady Cxvpher’ with one of the coolest collabs you’ve ever heard. WATCH the video here — trust me, it’s worth the 18-minute video.
Eminem, 42, is back and better than ever for a intense rap cypher. He teamed up with other heavy hitters of the rap game like Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf, Joe Budden and more for an insane lyrical mash up — and there’s no music involved!
Eminem’s ‘Shady Cxvpher’ — Music Video
In the trailer leading up to this iconic release, we got the hint that “Shady Cxvpher” was going to be all about the rapper’s hometowns — and that’s exactly what it was.
It began with all of the rappers introducing themselves and their prospective cities, and of course Eminem closed it out with, “My name is Marshall, I’m reppin’ that motherf-ckin’ Motor City, b-tch”– as if we could have possibly forgotten!
This new video is definitely going to go down in history for one of the more iconic poetry slams ever — there’s not even any music!. Eminem was as candid, like always, but we have to shout out to all the other huge rappers who also failed to disappoint!
When Em Has New Music…
We can only hope that Shady will head on tour now again since his Monster Tour with Rihanna was such a hut but so brief!
He has been out and about more than usual — on Nov. 5, he surprised Dr. Dre and Jimmy Lovine, his mentors, at the WSJ Innovator of the Year Awards in New York City!
“When Jimmy and Dre put their minds to something, get on board or get the f— out of the way,” he said during his speech. Well Slim, apparently that rubbed off on you!
This epic video will definitely be one for the books! What did you think about the cypher, HollywoodLifers?
