Channing Tatum, 34, and his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, 33, are the proud parents of a beautiful little girl named Everleigh, who is one-and-a-half years old. While promoting his latest film, Foxcatcher, the actor was asked whether or not he plans on spanking Everleigh to discipline her as she gets older. Unfortunately, his answer was a little too vague.
Not sure how to feel about this one.
Channing recently spoke with The Hollywood Reporter for their Nov. 4 cover, and he openly spoke about his daughter, Everleigh, who he and wife Jenna try to keep shielded from the spotlight as much as possible.
During the interview he was asked what his stance was on spanking, and Channing’s answer may surprise you: he doesn’t know if he has one.
“I don’t know if I’m going to spank my child or not.”
It’s a pretty vague response, and it’s clear that it’s something he has not yet had to think about as a new father. Sadly, he wasn’t immediately opposed to the idea, either.
In the very same interview, Channing was asked if there were any plans for he and Jenna to bring a second child into the world.
“I don’t think very, very soon. but it really depends if Jenna’s show gets picked up for a third season. Then we would probably wait,” Channing explained.
At the time of the interview Jenna’s show, Witches of East End, had not yet been cancelled, so Channing’s answers is now a little outdated. However, now that Jenna’s schedule is wide open, does that mean we can expect Everleigh to become a big sister sooner rather than later?
Fingers crossed!
