Congrats, Duggar family! Jessa Duggar and her longtime boyfriend, Ben Seewald, tied the knot in front of friends and family on Nov. 1. How exciting!
Jessa Duggar, 21, is the second Duggar daughter to get married! On Nov. 1, the 19 Kids & Counting star walked down the aisle to her boyfriend, Ben Seewald, 19. Their wedding comes just four months after Jill Duggar, 23, and Derick Dillard, 25, got married. Congrats to all of them!
’19 Kids & Counting’s Jessa Duggar & Ben Seewald Marry — Congrats
Jessa and Ben became man and wife in front of more than 1,000 guests at First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas, People confirms.
They even held hands as they said “I do!” So sweet!
By Jessa’s side was her sister Jinger, 20. Ben’s best friend and best man, Dylan McMahan, 24, was also in attendance.
We’ve watched Jessa and Ben fall in love over the course of 19 Kids & Counting. It’s truly amazing to see them tie the knot.
“Ben is a peacemaker and a gentle, kind man,” Michelle Duggar, 49, said. “I am grateful for the way the Lord brings two people together. We love Jessa so much and are so happy for her.”
Jessa & Ben Followed Strict Courtship Rules Up Until Wedding
As you might know already, the Duggar family prefer “courtships” for their children — especially their daughters — as opposed to regular relationships.
There are some major differences between a courtship and a relationship, including that Jessa and Ben were not allowed to hold hands until they were engaged. Before that, their physical contact was limited to “side hugs.”
Oh, and let us not forget that Jessa and Ben shared their FIRST KISS at their wedding! Yes, just like Jill and Derick before them, the newlyweds experienced their first kiss as a couple at the altar. How sweet!
