So cute! For the first time since she was born, Ashton Kutcher is revealing how he and his fiancee, Mila Kunis, picked out their daughter Wyatt’s beautiful name.
Ashton Kutcher, 36, is finally opening up about the birth of his first child, Wyatt Kutcher. In a new interview, the proud first-time father explains his and Mila Kunis‘ decision to give their baby girl such a beautiful name.
Ashton Kutcher & Mila Kunis: Why They Named Their Daughter Wyatt
How exciting is it to hear Ashton talking about his baby girl?
The actor beamed with pride as he sat next to Conan O’Brien to discuss Wyatt, his now one-month-old daughter with Mila.
When it came to explaining their name choice for their daughter, Ashton revealed that the name they originally had picked out didn’t “fit the energy” they were feeling during Mila’s pregnancy.
“I had to get the creative juices going, so we were going to a Lakers game, and I just started listing off anything and everything I saw: ‘sign, truck, wall, door … ‘ She [was] like, ‘Shut up!’” Ashton shared with a smile.
“Then I was like, ‘I’ve got a really dumb idea. What about Wyatt?’ She goes, ‘That’s it.’”
I guess it wasn’t a dumb idea after all, Ashton!
Wyatts Middle Name, ‘Isabelle’, Has More Sentimental Value
Although Ashton and Mila lucked out when Wyatt just came to them and fit perfectly, choosing her middle name came with an important significance.
As Ashton explained, the baby’s middle name is in honor of Mila’s grandfather.
“We gave her the name Isabelle after Mila’s grandfather, who was Yitzhak. And so it has a little heritage.”
For those of you that don’t know, Yitzhak is “Isaac” in Hebrew. So, Isabelle was the perfect feminine match Yitzhak.
