Kylie Jenner, I imagine that it’s so tough to be the youngest sibling and sister in the uber-successful and beautiful Kardashian/Jenner family.
At just 17, you’ve watched your best friend and older sister Kendall Jenner, 18, launch a hugely successful modeling career, especially at the recent New York City, Milan and Paris Spring 2015 fashion shows.
Meanwhile, you’ve grown up in the shadow of stunningly voluptuous older sister Kim Kardashian, 34, who has selfied almost every aspect of her gorgeous figure — especially her butt and cleavage.
Khloe, 30, and Kourtney, 35, are beautiful women in their own right, and then mom Kris Jenner is still highly attractive and sexy at 58, and loves to show off her own body in bikinis and cleavage-baring outfits.
Then there’s the well-publicized closeness that the Kardashian/Jenner family has had to plastic surgeons.
Your dad, Bruce Jenner, 64, has significantly altered his god-given looks over the years. Your mom, Kris, underwent both a face lift and a breast lift on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and proudly showed off the results. And your sister Kim had Botox injections on the show as well.
So there’s a complete comfort level in the Kardashian/Jenner family with plastic surgery, that may have made it feel completely normal for you to make some facial changes yourself.
Just looking at photos of you from 2010, there’s no doubt that you look very different. You looked adorable in 2010 and you’re a very attractive young woman now in 2014, but you have a significantly changed look.
There’s just no arguing that you’re sporting much, much fuller lips now and it sure looks like your nose today is thinner than in 2010. Multiple plastic surgeons have been quoted saying that they believe you’ve had plastic surgery.
“Her nose looks thinner and more refined, possibly from a subtle rhinoplasty,” Dr. Anthony Youn of Youn Plastic Surgery told RadarOnline.
“That is not just lipstick. Her lips look three times as wide as they did before,” Dr. Michael Salzhauer told us at HollywoodLife.com, adding that he believes your dramatically fuller lips are due to lip injections.
Certainly the effect of your alleged lip injections makes you look even more like Kim than before. Are you emulating your sister because you admire her so much? Or do you feel pressured in your family to live up to a certain “standard” of beauty?
“I think that all the Kardashians have got to feel a lot of pressure to look a certain way, in terms of their fans and being photographed all of the time, and their family culture,” LA psychiatrist Dr. Jenn Berman told HollywoodLife.com.
Kylie, you could be feeling competitive with your sisters. “Sibling rivalry is in every family so it would be understandable that she would want to turn herself into a Kim look-a-like,” believes relationship expert Dr. Gilda Carle of drgilda.com.
Kylie, I get it. You could feel terribly pressured and insecure. All 17 year olds feel insecure about themselves — it’s normal at your age. And being under the spotlight of fame that comes with your family could make it much tougher.
Maybe you feel like you need to “enhance” your looks to keep up with your family. And in your family, plastic surgery enhancements are normal and everyday affairs.
But let me just say that you are a very pretty young woman and you shouldn’t feel like you have to keep “enhancing” your looks. You’re great and you’re fine.
Maybe focus your urge to improve yourself on your singing career, on your education or on getting involved with charitable work. All of that will make you an even more beautiful person!
HollywoodLifers, do you agree that Kylie should not make any more changes to her looks? Let me know.
