Are You The One has gone three weeks into Season 2 with no perfect matches…until now. The first couple is matched up, but not before some serious drama ensues, including Paris making out with another dude (whose name is not Pratt)! Plus, a huge shocker ends the episode with all jaws dropped in the house.
Paris and Pratt have been attached at the hip (and probably a little bit more), since the very beginning of Season 2, a la Shanley and Chris from Season 1, making everyone super nervous that they’re wasting the entire house’s time not making out with other people.
Until tonight.
During a wild party, Paris kissed John! (If I’m not mistaken, he was just making out with Christina last week. Home-wrecker!)
Pratt pointed out that Paris was “obliterated drunk” at the party, but he didn’t think she would ever cheat on him (even though they’re living in a house where their job is to hook up with various people to win cash money, money.) He’s completely lovestruck, and can’t take the pain when Paris is dancing on John so he does that obvious — goes into his room, all alone with his Pratt pitcher.
Well, while Pratt is M.I.A., lingerie-clad Paris is fed up she can’t find him so she sucks face with John.
“I didn’t want to piss Pratt off because Pratt and I are friends,” John says, but then, well, he “wanted to make out with Paris.” So that happened. And Pratt is pissed.
Paris comes clean, telling Pratt that she made out with someone else, but even though it “didn’t mean anything,” he freaks out.
I mean, come on! They’re going to the truth booth tomorrow! How could she?!
“Tonight could potentially be my last night in the house. I’m just trying to turn up tonight and have a great time,” Pratt said, before Paris got in there with John.
Well, a few fights later, Paris admitted that she’s a liar with serious problems and Pratt got over her swapping spit with his friends, and it was time for the truth booth.
Verdict? Perfect match!
“When the perfect match popped up on the screen, it made me realize how much I care about this girl. I love her to death. I’m not just going to toss her aside like a rag doll because of one drunken mistake,” Pratt said.
Paris and Pratt found out that they were a perfect match, but the light beam ceremony was shocking. The past two weeks have matched up two couples per ceremony, but tonight? No new matches.
There were tears and lots of emotions because everyone together learned that they’re actually not a perfect match. (That means no Jenni and Anthony; no Shelby and Dario; no Layton and Jessica; no Briana and Curtis!)
In the end, the group learned a ton because now, they all know that if they want to win, they have to split.
HollywoodLifers, are you happy that Paris and Pratt are a perfect match? Surprised? Were you shocked that none of the couples at the end were matched up? Let us know!
