Tori Spelling Broke? — Watch ‘True Tori’ Breakdown

Tori may be the daughter of the ultra-successful Aaron Spelling, but according to her, that doesn’t mean she inherited his money.

On the new season of True Tori, Dean is actually supporting his wife, which is a nice change from last season’s sex-therapy disaster, but a new slew of problems has come their way: Tori may be pregnant, and the Spelling/McDermott clan may be broke.

“I’m overwhelmed with life,” Tori says through her tears. “I just feel so responsible for so many people, and I can’t do it — the responsibility of having to take care of so many people financially.”

Dean comforts her when she reveals that they’re living paycheck-to-paycheck, and he recommends that they can simply change their lifestyle, which includes “paying for five f***ing private schools.”

But, Tori isn’t privy to changing their lavish ways.

“I don’t want to change our lifestyle,” Tori cries. “That’s why I work so hard. I don’t want to change!”

This breakdown was filmed after Tori received the news that her ABC Family series Mystery Girls with Jennie Garth was cancelled.

Tori Spelling Blames Money Problems On Her Dad, Aaron Spelling

“My dad wouldn’t have wanted this,” Tori yelps, mid-tantrum.

In the new season, Tori also meets with Dean’s ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace, and tells her that her dad didn’t leave her any money behind. And why did she reveal that? Because Mary Jo implies that Dean had his own motives for cheating on her to get with Tori — money.

Do you think Tori and Dean are really broke?

True Tori Season 2 premieres on Oct. 21 (9/8c) on Lifetime.
