Nicholas Hoult: Jennifer Lawrence’s Ex Speaks Out On Nude Photo Scandal
On Good Day New York, the reporter brought up Jennifer’s scandal by saying, “Speaking of friends, Jennifer Lawrence, she’s been making a lot of news lately because of the pictures that were hacked and I think they might have been pictures that were sent to you.”
Whoa. “It’s shocking that things like that happen in the world,” Nicholas replied. “It’s a shame.”
Nicholas’ ex was quite possibly the biggest celebrity affected by the scandal. Dozens of photos were leaked of the actress in the first round of the scandal in August 2013. The hacker(s) continue to release alleged photos of Jennifer and other stars in this massive and gross invasion of privacy.
Jennifer isn’t staying quiet about the photo leak either. In the November 2014 issues of Vanity Fair, she finally addressed what she calls a “sex crime.”
“Just because I’m a public figure, just because I’m an actress, does not mean that I asked for this. It does not mean that it comes with the territory,” she told Vanity Fair. “It’s my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting. I can’t believe that we even live in that kind of world.”
Not once did JLaw apologize for the photos. Good for you, Jennifer!
“I was in a loving, healthy, great relationship for four years,” she continued. “It was long distance, and either your boyfriend is going to look at porn or he’s going to look at you.”
