It’s been a while since we’ve seen Selena Gomez on the big screen, which is why we cannot wait to see her upcoming film ‘Rudderless!’ In a new clip from the movie, Sel shows off her dark side in a chilling night-time scene that leaves us wanting more!
Selena Gomez, 22, plays alongside Billy Crudup, 46, in the new musical drama Rudderless, which hits theaters Oct. 17! The emotional film shows off Selena’s dark side and in a new clip, she is proving that she is delivering intensity like never before — check out the new clip!
‘Rudderless’ Preview — Selena Gomez Shows Off Her Dark Side In New Clip
In the clip, you can see a visibly upset Selena scolding Billy’s character for something he has done.
It would help to know a little about the film before watching the clip: “A grieving father in a downward spiral stumbles across a box of his recently deceased son’s demo tapes and lyrics. Shocked by the discovery of this unknown talent, he forms a band in the hope of finding some catharsis.”
The scene featured in the clip shows Billy’s character (the father) after performing a set of his dead son’s songs. Selena’s character (the son’s girlfriend) confronts him about playing the stolen music.
“It’s been better lately, things have died down, I even go out sometimes, like tonight….so you’re a rock star now huh? Except you didn’t write those songs, did you? How could you play those songs, shame on you,” Selena’s character yells before walking away with tears in her eyes. Talk about dark!

Since the completion of her film Rudderless, Selena has been taking some time off from showbiz but will she be quitting all together because of Justin?
“She made the decision to take this year off from work, but it was supposed to be so that she could focus on herself and getting healthy,” an insider reveals to HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
“Unfortunately it’s turned into being all about Justin and her health has actually suffered, it hasn’t been good for her,” adds the source.
