Taylor Swift ‘Someone Like You’ — Sings Adele’s Hit Song At Boston Children’s Hospital
Ben made sure that he posted the sweet video. He captioned their singing session, “I recently underwent a bone marrow transplant due to leukemia. Taylor Swift stopped by the hospital for a surprise visit and dropped by my room to say hi!”
Then Ben wrote that the pair then had an impromptu jam session.”When she noticed the keyboard in my room, she asked me to play a song for her. I decided to play a song I had recently started working on which was “Someone Like You,” by Adele,” he wrote. “She said she would sing what she knew, and I said that I would play as much as I knew.”
In the video Taylor looked through Ben’s sheet music before beginning to sing the song from memory as Ben beautiful accompanied her on his piano.
“This was the most amazing moment in my life being able to accompany Taylor Swift. She is super nice and cordial and probably made everyone’s day here at the hospital,” Ben gushed. “It was so great of her to come out specially to visit all of us here at the hospital. And in case you are wondering, I did get a hug from her, unfortunately it wasn’t caught on video!”
Taylor Swift Promotes New Album ‘1989’
Recently, Taylor has been busy performing her hit single, “Shake It Off” and promoting her album, “1989” that is set to hit shelves on Oct. 27! The always sweet and adorable singer has been caught in the middle of a feud with fellow singer, Katy Perry after she opened up to Rolling Stone about her album.
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, the singer told the mag, “She did something so horrible. I was like, ‘Oh, we’re just straight-up enemies.’ And it wasn’t even about a guy! It had to do with business,” she said. “She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I’m surprisingly non-confrontational – you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it.”
