Sienna Miller plays the role of the Bradley’s wife in the film. (We can’t help but wonder if Jennifer Lawrence is feeling just a little bit jealous?) Above all, for Bradley, sharing Chris’s story with the rest of the world was a true passion project.
The actor even spoke to the late Navy SEAL before he was killed, in order to gain the rights to adapt, produce and star in his story.
Chris Kyle: Decorated Sniper Buried At Texas State Cemetery
In fact, back in 2012, Bradley had only one single conversation with the 38-year -old veteran before the decorated sniper’s death. Chris was laid to rest on Feb. 12th, 2012 after he was tragically murdered at a North Texas gun range by Iraq War veteran Eddie Ray Routh, 25.
It seems just like yesterday when thousands of people lined the streets to pay their respects to Chris and his family at his funeral procession.
However, now with the production of the film, Bradley will be able to share the veteran’s legacy with not only thousands of Americans, but millions of people worldwide. The movie will hit theaters in Jan. 16. Will you watch?
