Oh no! Sadly, Kate Middleton is still not feeling well due to her severe morning sickness, which has left her with no choice but to cancel her first solo royal engagement in Malta.
Kate Middleton, 32, is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum once again as she carries her second child and unfortunately it has left her incapacitated. Because of her illness, the Duchess of Cambridge was forced to cancel a very important trip to Malta where she was expected to represent her grandmother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II. Who will go in her place?
Kate Middleton Cancels Trip To Malta Due To Morning Sickness
It was revealed that the Duchess was expecting a second child just a couple of weeks before she was set to embark on a very important milestone: her first solo appearance on foreign soil as a royal on behalf of the Queen.
Even though Kate and her medical team waited until the very last minute to decide, ultimately she was left with no other decision but to cancel on the advice of her doctors due to her severe morning sickness, reports People.
So sad, she must be majorly bummed.
However, her loyal husband, Prince William, 32, is scheduled to take her place on the Mediterranean Island to help kick-off their 50th anniversary celebration of being independent from Britain. How exciting!
Prince William Starts Training For His New Job Soon
As many royal family fans already know, the Duke of Cambridge is set to start a brand-new job as a pilot for East Anglian Air Ambulance in Sept. 2014.
William needs to undergo extensive training for his new job, which People reports will begin shortly after he steps in for Kate in Malta.
The royal couple, and of course Prince George, 1, will be moving to Anmer Hall to live full-time, which will be great for Kate as she will need to rest and stay out of the spotlight throughout her second pregnancy.
“They are going to be Norfolk-based and coming to London every so often, rather than London-based and going off for a weekend in Norfolk,” a source close to the royals explained in the report.
