There ain’t no party like an Alaskan snowmobile party! The Palin family allegedly was involved in a huge brawl on Sept. 6, at a house party sponsored by the annual Iron Dog snowmobile race. Eyewitnesses claim they actually watched Bristol throw punches.
Sarah Palin and Bristol Palin are not new to drama, but it sounds like this could be their biggest scandal ever. Sarah, 50, her husband, Todd, and her children — Bristol, 23, Willow, 20, and Track, 21, arrived in a stretch Hummer to Korey Klingenmeyer’s house, according to an eyewitness’ report. Then, it didn’t take long until punches were thrown. So, why’d it all go down?
Sarah Palin In Fight At House Party?
While many different reports are circulating, Alaskan political blogger Amanda Coyne was the first to piece together the witnesses who came forward, explaining what went down inside the party.
First, Sarah’s son, Track reportedly confronted Conner Cleary, Willow’s ex-boyfriend. Witnesses told Amanda that Conner and Track fought in the front yard of the house, and then Conner’s father, Steve, jumped in to try and break it up. This was followed by Track’s father, Todd, also jumping in and reportedly trying to choke Steve.
The fight was broken up — but it was just the beginning. The Cleary family were huddled close together when Bristol and Willow began to approach them, says eyewitness Eric Thompson. Korey, the owner of the house then told the Palin girls to leave, but instead Bristol “stood straight up, brought her arm back and cold-cocked him right in the face,” Eric said — and she continued to punch him six more times before he pushed her back and she fell.
“I was thoroughly amazed at the restraint Korey showed. He’s a total gentlemen,” Eric said. However, Sarah got involved as well, and was “nearly crawling on top of people,” trying to get into the fight. It was broken up once again and the family was forced to leave.
“I heard Sarah Palin yell do you know who I am? All of us could not believe it. We thought we were watching an episode of Jerry Springer,” he added.
Police Do Not Confirm Palin Participation
The police showed up a few minutes later and took statements from many. However, no one knows who actually phoned them.
Jennifer Castro, Anchorage Police Department’s communications director, confirmed a fight went down, but did not confirm it was the Palins.
“On Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, just before midnight, Anchorage police responded to a report of a verbal and physical altercation taking place between multiple subjects outside of a residence located on the 900 block of Harbor Circle. A preliminary investigation by police revealed that a party had been taking place at a nearby residence and a fight had broken out between multiple subjects outside of the residence,” Jennifer told The Washington Post. “At the time of the incident, none of the involved parties wanted to press charges and no arrests were made. However, the case is still an active investigation and is being reviewed by APD and the Municipal Prosecutors Office. Alcohol was believed to have been a factor in the incident. Some of the Palin family members were in attendance at the party.”
