Anna stunned at the TIFF premiere of ‘The Last Five Years’ on Sept. 7 in a white gown reminiscent of old Hollywood and the perfect softly tousled waves to match. What a star!
Anna Kendrick, 29, looked flawless gliding down the red carpet at the TIFF premiere of her latest film, The Last Five Years. The Pitch Perfect actress looked her most elegant yet in a white, backless gown and minimal makeup, the biggest hit of her true superstar look being her fabulously styled hair.
Anna Kendrick’s Waves at TIFF
With not a single strand out of place, Anna took to the Toronto Film Festival red carpet with perfect, shiny locks styled in old Hollywood-type waves.
She wore a classic dress by KaufmanFranco, which was floor-length with a sheer back and two sheer strips across the front as well, and Anna kept with this ultra classy vibe in her hairstyle.
Reminiscent of 1940s black-and-white Rita Hayworth in the film Gilda, the top of Anna’s hair was sleek and pulled straight back to one side with exquisite waves flowing gracefully down and over her left shoulder.
Although the look was no doubt glamorous, there was a lovely ease to it as well, which paired exceptionally with her minimal makeup and low-key jewelry — a Lee Savage clutch, and Vita Fede and DanaRebecca Designs jewelry, as well as Brian Atwood heels.
Anna’s face was almost completely au naturel with just a hint of black winged eyeliner in the corners of her lids, a coat or two of mascara and a very light lip. The rumored Into The Woods Cinderella completed this natural beauty style with a no-nonsense, clear mani.
Illustrating both her confidence and keen sense for fashion and beauty, this was one of Anna’s best looks so far, and we look forward to seeing more from this beautiful and classy lady.
