‘Teen Mom 2′ Preview: Jenelle Finalizes Divorce From Courtland
Okay, okay, it’s not exactly a secret that Jenelle and Courtland are divorced and have been since June 2014.
However, the new season of Teen Mom 2 is jam-packed with all of the gritty details about how, why, and when it all went down. On the Sept. 3 episode, Jenelle finds out that waiting over 13 months to get divorced was totally worth it.
In the clip above which was EXCLUSIVELY provided to HollywoodLife.com, a very pregnant Jenelle stops by her lawyers office for a quick visit. This one is much different than her first visit, which was when she officially filed her divorce paperwork. That time, she was accompanied by both her boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, and her mom, Barbara Evans.
During their one-on-one, Jenelle’s lawyer tells her that Courtland had 30 days to respond to her divorce request — and he did not. Because of this, the judge granted Jenelle her divorce without contest and even legally changed her name back to Evans from Rogers.
When Jenelle gets the news, she could not be happier to find out she is finally a free woman — and with just weeks to go before her second son, Kaiser, is born.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers — Did Jenelle do the right thing by divorcing Courtland? Do you think she will marry Nathan now that she is legally single? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
