Mark Wahlberg has finally broken his silence after skipping out on brother Donnie Wahlberg’s wedding to Jenny McCarthy on Aug. 30. Was his reason for missing out good enough?
When it was revealed that Mark Wahlberg, 43, would be skipping out on his brother Donnie Wahlberg‘s wedding to Jenny McCarthy, many assumed that it was a confirmation that he didn’t approve of his brother’s other half. Mark Wahlberg Dissing Jenny McCarthy & Donnie Wahlberg By Skipping Wedding?
Jenny and Donnie married on Aug. 30, and Mark expressed his congratulations later that day with the following tweet:

To which Donnie replied:

Jenny has yet to tweet back herself as of the morning of Aug. 31, though she hasn’t tweeted much of anything.

Mark also expressed his congratulations to Jenny and Donnie via an adorable video which he posted to Facebook and Instagram — see below:
In it, the whole family is gathered, with his four children (Ella Rae, 10, Michael Robert, 8, Brendan Joseph, 5, and Grace Margaret, 4) screaming congratulations at the camera.
It’s pretty cute, but it’s also kind of a funny way to congratulate your brother on his marriage — shouldn’t it be a more private affair? Did he send any private messages? Is this his way of proving that there are no hard feelings for Jenny?
Or, is this just how famous families communicate with each other in 2014?
Mark Wahlberg & Wife Rhea Durham Allegedly Not Huge Fans Of Donnie Wahlberg’s Wife, Jenny McCarthy
As TMZ initially reported, the Wahlbergs aren’t huge fans of Jenny; the outlet also claims that Mark’s wife, Rhea Durham, is annoyed with Jenny over a recent interview with Howard Stern in which she talks about her relationship with Mark and her sex life with Donnie.
Mark’s reps told TMZ that the Transformers actor didn’t attend the wedding in favor of celebrating Ella Rae’s birthday early since he’ll be filming on her actual birthday on Sept. 2.
