After two days in the hospital, Joan is now dependent on life support, TMZ reports. Joan was reportedly already in a medically induced coma, Daily Mail reports. The family will have to make a decision about whether or not to keep her on the machines in the coming days, TMZ claims.
HollywoodLife.com learned EXCLUSIVELY that all decisions about Joan’s health will be made by Melissa.
Melissa released a new statement to E! News on Aug. 29. “My mother would be so touched by the tributes and prayers that we have received from around the world,” her statement read. “Her condition remains serious but she is receiving the best treatment and care possible. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts as we pray for her recovery.”
Our thoughts and prayers remain with Joan and her family during this time. We are all hoping she makes a full recovery.
