Robsten fans, this one’s for you. Kristen Stewart, 24, is gorgeous on the cover of Vanity Fair France, but more compelling than the truly stunning shoot is what’s inside: an admission that working with her ex, Robert Pattinson, 28, was “like a drug.” Seriously!
In Vanity Fair France, Kristen revealed that, of course, she is a better actor herself when she is surrounded by equally or more talented performers:
“Everyone knows that you’re better with other actors who are really present, who you are having the same experience with, but I am made or broken on it. If I’m working with someone who I’m not vibing with, or who I have to fake anything with, then it’s sad for me and it’s bad acting.”
And yes, working with lesser talent has happened to her before:
“I haven’t been totally screwed, but I’ve had to force things. I’ve had to be in front of people and be like, ‘Oh, thank God we only have a few scenes together.’ […] I’ve been really lucky and the good experiences have definitely outweighed the not as euphoric experiences. But, yes, I know the difference.”
Then, she says, “When it’s good, it’s f***ing like a drug.”
Of course, about whom could she be talking about other than former co-star and lover Robert Pattinson?
Even Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke knew that their chemistry was off the charts — in an interview with Elle back in Oct. 2013, she revealed: “With Rob and Kristen, it was apparent that those two just connected and had a magnetism for each other that was electric, right there on the spot.”
Despite Kristen’s relationship with Rob falling apart in July 2012 after photos of her kissing her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, 43, were released, she and Rob couldn’t really stay away from each other — they reunited briefly in 2013 only to split once again.
By her comments, it’s clear that the relationship had a huge impact on the young Kristen — both romantically and professionally.
HollywoodLifers, do you think that Rob and Kristen will ever properly get back together (hookups aside), or are they forever finished for good? Let us know.
