Wow. Jennifer Aniston has finally revealed how she really feels about the constant pressure for her to have children, and it’s safe to say that she isn’t very happy about it.
Jennifer Aniston, 45, has suffered through years and years of speculation about whether or not she will ever have children. From pregnancy rumors to alleged IVF treatments and then some, the actress opened up about the idea of having children and how she doesn’t think it’s fair to measure a woman by her motherhood status.
Jennifer Aniston Does Not Want To Be Measured By The Children She Does Or Does Not Have
It seems like every week there is another new report claiming to know all about Jen’s progression into motherhood.
Unfortunately, right now, there still is no progression for the actress who is currently engaged to The Leftovers star Justin Theroux, 43.
“I don’t have this sort of checklist of things that have to be done, and … if they’re not checked, then I’ve failed some part of my feminism or my being a woman or my worth and my value as a woman,” Jen told Today Show correspondent Carson Daly during a pre-taped interview that air on Wednesday, Aug. 27.
Clearly, Jen does not let the multiple different reports about her lack of children affect her. Sadly, she did admit that she finds the pressure of having children from others to be quite difficult sometimes.
“I don’t think it’s fair to put that pressure on people,” the actress said hesitantly.
The truth is, when the time is right for Jen — it will happen. And if that time never comes, or she just doesn’t want children, then so be it.
So what do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Will Jen never have children, or do you think there is still time for her to plan for a baby in her future? Let us know your thoughts below.
