What a huge night on ‘America’s Got Talent!’ The Aug. 27, elimination show kicked off with an amazing performance by Ariana Grande, before it was time to send six acts home, while six more celebrated, and moved one step closer to the million dollar prize!
It was time to say goodbye to six more amazing acts on the Aug. 27, episode of America’s Got Talent. With only six acts advancing to the top twelve. the competition heated up as the contestants moved even closer to winning the million dollar prize! Read below to find out who went home!
‘America’s Got Talent’ Six Acts Sent Home
Ariana Grande, 21, opened up the night with a bang, showing off her killer voice by singer his hit song, “Break Free!” After setting the tone of the night, it was time to dive into the nights eliminations.
Three acts were on the cusp of being saved, Ariel Animation, Mara Johnson and David & Leeman, and were up for tonights save. During the nights show, audiences at home were able to vote for the act that they felt should make it through the top twelve
Wild card picks, Mike Super, Bad Boys of Ballet and Flight Crew were called up first to find out their fate. As the tension filled the room, the first act to make it to the top twelve was announced, magician, Mike! Congrats, can’t wait to see what else you have up your sleeve!
Sons of Serendip and Andrey Moraru were called up to the top of the stage next to find out who would be going home. Unfortunately, for the body balancer, it was not his night and the musical boys of Sons of Serendip learned that they were moving forward to the finals.
‘America’s Got Talent:’ More Sad Goodbyes
Emily West, Miguel Dakota, Dan Naturman, and Paul Ieti were called up next, and the stunningly beautiful and talented Emily was saved first — not that anyone was surprised after last nights performance!
Heart throb, Miguel was also sent through, and all of the women in the audience were screaming! Sadly, veteran Paul and comedian Dan were sent packing.
Finally it was time to find out the result of the viewers vote during the show. The fans spoke loud and clear, and chose to send 12-year-old Mara through the finals, leaving it up to the judges to decide who would get the final spot of the night.
While all of the judges recognized that both acts were amazing, based off of last night performances, they all voted for David & Leeman to make it through to the finals, sending Ariel Animation home.
