Piper looks piping hot! Taylor Schilling looked totally amazing at the 2014 Emmy Awards at the Nokia Theatre in L.A. Aug. 25. The ‘Orange Is The New Black’ star hit the red carpet in a gorgeous gown that flattered her figure and was a beautiful neutral color. Find out more about her Emmy fashion below.
Taylor Schilling was simply stunning as the first star to step on to the Emmy Awards red carpet tonight. The OITNB star chose a figure-flattering Zuhair Murad Couture gown that already won her awards in the fashion department, no matter what happens inside the big show.
Taylor Schilling’s Emmy Dress: Beaded Nude Perfection
The Outstanding Actress in a Comedy nominee, 30, made her Primetime Emmy debut in high style — no orange jumpsuit tonight! The Netflix star has been outspoken about the pressure of looking good in Hollywood. “I don’t feel bound by my face or my body. I don’t feel like that’s the biggest gift I have to offer the world. I feel like there are more parts of me to offer than that,” Taylor told Allure earlier this year. But for the 2014 Emmy Awards, she really pulled out all the stops.
Her style was really something else in an understated but elegant way. “It’s a non-color,” she explained of the Zuhair Murad Couture beaded gown’s nude hue. “It didn’t feel like a throwback but it felt timeless,” Taylor gushed of her deco-inspired look. She completed her perfect ensemble with a white Rauwolf clutch, Stuart Weitzman shoes and some breathtaking Forevermark Exceptional Diamond Jewelry by Premier Gem.
She is beginning to get more comfortable dressing up for these big events. “There are so many options. I just love this part,” she recently told Vogue. “Now that I’ve been to a few, I feel like I’m becoming a bit more confident in saying what I like and what I don’t like.” We like what you like, Taylor — a lot!
