When it comes to award show fashion, the VMAs never disappoints as the celeb set seems to get more daring as they take risks — and they love to show off lots of skin! From leather looks to really short rompers, see all the interesting outfits & VOTE for who you think totally rocked the red carpet.
The VMAs on August 24 brought out some of the best and boldest looks as celebrities arrived at The Forum in LA for the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards — and I was so thrilled to see so many stars take risks on the red carpet! We saw daring hemlines, bold patterns, bright hues, and a whole lot of skin! Taking a chance can be hit or miss, but you can never deny the fact that the VMAs red carpet was definitely interesting.
VMAs Best Dressed 2014 — Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus & More:
Leather proved to be one of the biggest trends of the night as two of our favorite songstresses, Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande, rocked leather from head-to-toe. Even though Miley sported a bandeau and high-waisted pants in black leather, it was still considered demure for the star — especially when compared to her performance outfit from last year’s show! Ariana sported a severely short look with a pair of thigh-high boots as she rocked Moschino from head-to-toe. Not only did she look fabulous on the red carpet, but she also rocked the stage in a slew of sexy styles before she slipped into a glittering strapless mini — we can’t get enough of all of her outfits.
While they went edgy, Taylor Swift was beyond sexy in the shortest silhouette we’ve ever seen on the songstress — it was the best way for her to flaunt her amazing legs, (which are definitely her greatest asset)!
Although these gals were definitely show-stopping, they aren’t alone! See who else had us totally captivated as they came down the red carpet & VOTE for who YOU think deserves to take home the best dressed title.
