Chris Brown may have been one of the intended targets of the shooting that happened at the pre-VMAs party he was hosting at 1OAK, and he has spoken out about the altercation on Twitter. However, it appears that he is dissing the shooter! Not a great idea.
We were surprised that Chris Brown, 25, would have spoken out about the shooting at the pre-VMAs party that he was hosting, but he’s never been all that shy. In his tweet following the shooting which landed rap mogul Suge Knight, 49, in the hospital with six gunshot wounds, Chris seems to be calling out — and maybe even taunting — the shooter.
Chris Brown’s Response To Shooting At Pre-VMAs Party: Is He Taunting The Gunman?
Here’s what Chris tweeted on Aug. 24 following the shooting:
It’s disappointing that we as a society can’t have fun or enjoy ourselves without any altercations sometimes. Miss me with the bullsh*t!!!
— Chris Brown (@chrisbrown) August 24, 2014
Chris is right — it’s a shame that this had to happen, especially at such a fun event. He was hosting a pre-VMAs party at 1OAK in West Hollywood when shots rang out, and Chris is not happy. He doesn’t condone “stupid sh*t” like that, as a source revealed to HollywoodLife.com.
Chris Brown: ‘Miss Me With The Bullsh*t’ At 1OAK — Is He Dissing The Shooter?
By saying “miss me with the bullsh*t,” does he mean to call out the shooter? It certainly appears that way — could he even be taunting them? The last thing you want to tell someone who is still at large is: “you missed me.” That’s basically asking them to try again.
Considering that a source previously revealed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Chris will still be attending the MTV VMAs, maybe it’s not such a wise choice considering how public the event is and how out in the open Chris will be. While he wasn’t involved in the shooting — nor was he necessarily a target, despite eyewitness claims — his reaction on Twitter may not have been the most clever move.
Not only is Suge recoverig from a reported six gunshot wounds, according to TMZ, but two other people were injured in the club.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Is Chris taunting the shooter that was inside the club? Should he still be attending the VMAs? Let us know.
