Season 4 of HBO’s ‘Girls’ premieres in early 2015, but the first teaser trailer has already arrived! Check it out!

In the first teaser trailer for Season 4 of Girls, things seem like they might actually be going alright for Hannah Horvath (Lena Dunham)… until they’re abruptly not. Watch and let us know what you think!

The trailer opens with Hannah looking like she doesn’t have a care in the world, riding her bike through a park on a sunny day in, presumably, Iowa. However, almost immediately, she totally faceplants into the grass.

Could this be foreshadowing Hannah taking on a more dejected persona as opposed to last season? Will she metaphorically “fall off the ride of life?” In Season 3, we saw Hannah get accepted into a writer’s workshop at the University of Iowa, prolonging her young adulthood (which, quite frankly, is what she’s always wanted).

‘Girls’ Season 4 To Premiere In Winter 2015

The teaser is pretty fun — it’s clearly a stunt double who falls into the grass, as evidenced by crew members coming onto the scene of the accident and one of them saying, “Miss Dunham, we’re ready for you.” Presumably, this is when Lena, 28, will get under the bicycle herself.

More than anything, the teaser shows that Girls is firmly back in production, and reminds us that we’ll be seeing our favorite girls soon…ish. Winter 2015 is a long way away, so it’s great that Girls fans have this little snippet.

HollywoodLifers, are you looking forward to Season 4 of Girls? For how long do you think Hannah will stay in Iowa before New York calls to her once again? Let us know your thoughts below.
