This fashionable teen is on a stellar style role on the red carpet — and for her latest appearance she managed to show off two chic looks on the very same night! Do you have a favorite? VOTE!
Chloe Grace Moretz might be busy promoting her latest film, If I Stay, but the 17-year-old certainly looks like she’s having fun with experimenting with fashion! When the young starlet first burst on the scene as a pre-teen she was always one to watch, and as she continues to impress us with her versatile range as she grows into a real red carpet pro — and it was totally evident when she stepped out on the red carpet at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on August 20.
Chloe Grace Moretz ‘If I Stay’ Premiere Dress — 2 Looks In One Night:
While we’ve seen her sport everything from chic separates and flowing maxis to embellished minis, on this occasion she opted for chic couture, as she stepped out in a Schiaparelli Spring 2014 creation. Chloe opted for a black tulle gown that featured a ruched bodice and a flowing skirt. Underneath, a printed baby blue slip that displayed cartoon images added an unexpected twist to the creation — and it also was fun and playful for the teen. She polished off the ensemble by rocking Van Cleef & Arpels jewels.
Although she got all dressed up for the big premiere, it wasn’t long before she pulled a frock swap and slipped out of the gown and into another black dress! She rocked the after party in an ethereal dress that featured a semi-sheer skirt and lace detailing on the bodice. Sheer is a major trend that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere — especially when it comes to the red carpet! Although this look showed some skin, the teen was still properly covered, and the silhouette, (including the short sleeves and the longer skirt), was a great way for her to rock the trend in an age-appropriate way.
Personally, I loved the second dress on the star. Not only did it stay true to her fierce taste in fashion, but she totally owned it! While the first gown definitely had a fun element incorporated into the design, the color was a bit heavy for this time of year and it didn’t do anything for the fashionable teen.
Do you agree? Which dress did you like better on Chloe?
