When Khloe Kardashian tied the knot with Lamar Odom, she clearly thought it’d last forever — so she got a tattoo of his initials. However, after how badly he hurt her, I think it’s time to get rid of that ink. She deserves a fresh start and a clean slate.
On the August 17 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian admitted that she didn’t want to remove her hand tattoo of Lamar Odom‘s initials. While her reasoning was that she liked hand tattoos, it’s not fair for her to have another reminder of the pain he put her through every time she looks down!
Khloe Kardashian: Remove Tattoo You Got For Lamar Odom
“What am I supposed to do with it?” Khloe asked her sister, Kim Kardashian during the episode. “I don’t want to remove it. I like tattoos on my hands, but I could change the words.” Well, that’s an idea!
It’s clear from what we saw on the episode — Khloe feeling bad for Lamar after he gets denied from entering the club — that she’s not fully over him, and that’s 100 percent okay. They were married and she was in love with him, and probably still is.
However, Lamar publicly hurt her over and even cheated, or as she said, was “f-cking someone else.”
She said she was hoping that he would come back after she said she was filing for a divorce, but he didn’t. I think that enough was a sign for her that it was time for a fresh start, and removing her tattoo would be a good way to begin that. Of course, I’m not in her shoes and moving on is much easier said than done.
It’s Time To For Khloe To Focus On Khloe
Sure, she could add “VE” to make her tattoo into “LOVE,” but then every time she’d see “LOVE” on her hand, she would still think of Lamar. She could make it into “Khloe,” or just get it removed all together– which is my suggestion.
Khloe has been moving on with French Montana, and trying to fully just keep to herself — she didn’t even want her sisters to know where she was and what she was doing. However, to really move forward, she has to let Lamar go.
And, that includes his initials.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Should Khloe keep her Lamar Odom tattoo or is it time for a clean slate? Should she just get it changed? Let me know!
