Mara Wilson, 27, was one of the first celebrities to react to the death of Robin Williams, 63, on social media. Thankfully, the young actress received the news personally, however she shared her heartbreaking thoughts on the loss of her on-screen father in a lengthy tweet. So sad.

One of the people who was fortunate to work with Robin personally has broken her silence about his tragic death.
In 1993, Mara portrayed the adorable Natalie Hillard — daughter to Robin’s Daniel Hillard, and a subject of the hilarious Mrs. Doubtfire’s affection. When news broke that Robin had allegedly taken his own life inside his home on Aug. 11, Mara took to social media to share her thoughts about the world’s loss.
“Very sad, very upset, very glad I did not have to hear about this though Twitter,” Mara wrote as social media lifted into a frenzy of memes and memorials of the legendary actor.
“Probably going to be taking some time off it for a while.”
This was the last anyone heard from Mara, who is currently suffering a heartbreakingly large loss along with the rest of the cast of Mrs. Doubtfire.

Obviously, many of you already know that Mara was not the only on-screen child Robin had in his classic film, Mrs. Doubtfire.
Although his movie son, Matthew Lawrence, has yet to respond to the devastating news, his eldest on-screen child in the film, Lisa Jakub, has shared her reaction with the world.
“There are no words,” the former actress wrote on Twitter.
It’s clear that Robin truly touched the lives of the children that were once portrayed as his own, as their heartbreaking reactions make headlines the day after he allegedly took his own life.
