This is interesting. A new report claims that Kate Middleton, Prince William, and their son George have traded in their palace apartment for the countryside — even after millions of dollars in renovations. But why?
All eyes are on Kate Middleton, 32 — especially now that she seems to have gone into hiding. The mother of Prince George, 1, and her husband, Prince William, 31, have ditched their newly renovated Kensington Palace apartment for Anmer Hall in England’s countryside. What are the royal couple hiding?
Kate Middleton Moves Out Of Kensington Palace With Prince George
Why would anyone spend $5 million on renovations to their home only to move out a few months later?
It’s the question everyone seems to be asking themselves after the news broke that the Duke and Duchess, as well as their little prince, have packed their bags for Anmer Hall in the countryside.
Just as soon as the news broke of the royal couple’s decision to ditch the big city for the quiet and secluded country, the speculation over whether or not Kate was pregnant began.
While it’s totally possible that being in a secluded mansion would be a wonderful place to hide a baby bump, there are also other reasons for their move — like Prince William’s new job.
That’s right, the Duke has accepted a full-time job as a helicopter pilot for the East Anglian Air Ambulance, reports Vanity Fair. He’s going to make $67,000 a year AND donate all of it to charity! As it turns out, their Anmer Hall home is actually much closer to Prince William’s place of work, which marks a second explanation for the sudden move.
However, it would be nice to hear that Kate is expecting again — especially since the cat is already out of the bag already!
