Uh oh! Jacqueline Laurita is returning to ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey,’ a source confirms to HollywoodLife.com, after sister-in-law Dina Manzo reportedly refused to return to the show unless Jacqueline was gone!
The ratings for season six of The Real Housewives of New Jersey have reportedly been plummeting since the July 13 premiere, so it appears as though Bravo is hoping to shake things up by bringing back former Housewife Jacqueline Laurita!
Jacqueline Laurita Returns To ‘RHONJ’
Filming for the new season of RHONJ already wrapped, but production has been and will be capturing some additional footage for this season’s episodes, Us Weekly reports.
Dina Manzo’s estranged sister-in-law will be featured in some those new scenes, a source confirms to HollywoodLife.com.
“They were planning on taping some new scenes anyway for Teresa [Giudice’s fraud case] sentencing [on September 23],” an insider told Us Weekly.
As for Jacqueline, don’t expect any face-to-face quarrels between her and Dina.
“Jacqueline will appear later in the season. She will not be ‘coming for Dina,’ though,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Mostly, all of Jacqueline’s filming will be with [former Housewife] Kathy [Wakile].”
The above photo of Jacqueline having dinner with husband Chris Laurita, former cast members Richard Wakile and Kathy, as well as season six stars Bobby and Nicole Napolitano, seems to lend credence to our source’s comments.
The picture was posted by Kathy’s sister, Rosie Pierri, on Instagram earlier this week, but was quickly taken down. Perhaps Bravo didn’t want Jacqueline’s return spoiled.
Dina Manzo: I Will Never Work With Family Again
We have a feeling that Dina will be very happy to hear she won’t be filming with Jacqueline.
“I’m going to be honest and say I will never do a reality show with family ever again,” she previously told Us Weekly. “It’s just not a healthy environment. It’s not something I recommend to family.”
Jacqueline was reportedly fired at the end of season five because Dina allegedly gave Bravo an ultimatum, refusing to come back to the reality series if her sister-in-law remained on the show, Radar Online claims.
We can always hope for a showdown on the reunion, though, right?!
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Are you happy Jacqueline is returning to RHONJ? Who else would you like to see return? Vote in our poll!
