It’s finally happened, ‘Once Upon A Time’ fans — the first photo of sisters Anna and Elsa from ‘Frozen’ has been released. Check it out!
Nothing has done a better job to revive interest in Once Upon A Time‘s upcoming fourth season than the introduction of a whole new cast of characters from Disney’s smash hit Frozen. While tons of photos have been released of Georgina Haig in her role as Queen Elsa, and even a few of Scott Michael Foster as Kristoff, we have yet to see Elizabeth Lail as Princess Anna. Well, the wait is over. Check out the first still from the OUAT set of the royal sisters of Arendelle!

Pretty uncanny, right? The casting for the characters from Frozen may just be OUAT‘s best yet, as far as resemblances go. (Although where’s Kristoff’s long, shaggy hair? Details, details.)
We’ll just have to wait until Season 4 premieres on September 28 to see if the newest arrivals in Storybrooke can act the part as well as look it, but we’re pretty confident that Disney wouldn’t have left the characters from their highest-grossing animated feature ever in the hands of amateurs.
Anna From ‘Frozen’ On ‘Once Upon A Time': Is She Getting Married To Kristoff?
However, this first look of Anna and Elsa is not the true first look for those lucky enough to have attended the Once Upon A Time panel at Comic-Con on July 25. Those attendees got to see a brief clip of Anna and Elsa in action: “The clip opens with Frozen‘s Anna and Elsa putting flowers on their parents’ gravestones, with Elsa telling her sister, ‘Anna, they would be so proud of you,'” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“But that’s not all, Elsa breaks the news that she has a surprise for Anna, but not just any surprise — it’s for her wedding.”
Is Anna getting married to Kristoff?! And so soon? THR reports that the Frozen storyline on OUAT will pick after the events of the animated feature — didn’t Anna learn her lesson about falling in love too quickly and about the importance of clear-headed decision-making?! She nearly died the first time! Oh, Anna, still so naïve.
Also cast from Frozen is Tyler Jacob Moore as the evil Prince Hans, and John Rhys-Davies will voice the grandpa rock troll Pabbie. (And yet the OUAT showrunners laughed at the idea of a CGI Olaf!)
So, HollywoodLifers, what do you think about the casting of Anna and Elsa? Is the resemblance uncanny or what? Do you think they’ll do a good job, or do you need to wait and see? Let us know!
