Uh oh! It looks like there may be trouble in paradise for Leah and Jeremy — again. On the August 6 episode of ‘Teen Mom 2,’ the couple argue about expenses and Leah’s spending habits. Meanwhile, Jenelle’s mom lets her take Jace for an entire weekend while Nathan is in jail.
Leah Messer, 22, and Jeremy Calvert, 25, are back to fighting again. On the August 6 episode of Teen Mom 2, the couple got in a huge fight over Leah’s spending habits among other things. Meanwhile, Chelsea Houska, 22, learns that her ex Adam Lind could face up to two years in prison for his recent car accident.
Leah & Jeremy’s Explosive Fight Over Money Turns Ugly
Here we go again.
At a frozen yogurt shop, Leah’s friend Chastity asked her how she was doing. Leah admitted that she felt much better since her doctor lowered the dosage of her medication, which was stressing her out just one week prior. Then, Leah dropped a bomb: she found a buyer for her house and is planning on moving into a two bedroom apartment very soon.
This would be the best for her family financially, considering all of Ali’s medical bills, as well as the fact that her daughter needs to be somewhere where she can use her wheelchair freely.
The next day, Leah and Jeremy went to the appliance store to buy a new dryer — but that did not work out so well. The couple walked into the store hoping to purchase the first dryer they saw, but when Leah went to pay her card would not go through. Apparently, the purchase was over her credit limit.
Jeremy was instantly irritated by this and made a snide comment about her spending habits. Immediately you know this is not going to end well — and it doesn’t.
When Jeremy and Leah got back into their car, he confronted her about money because he was not happy about her spending habits. Jeremy snapped and asked if they had enough money for taxes and car payments, which they don’t.
Their argument was loud, and scary, and it’s a good thing none of their kids were with them. Maybe these two really should have taken the idea of counseling much more serious, because it looks like they definitely still need it.
Jenelle Spends The Weekend With Jace
Believe it or not, Jenelle’s mom Barbara showed concern for Jenelle’s boyfriend, Nathan, asking how he was doing now that he was in jail. Now that Nathan is gone for at least a month while doing jail time, Jenelle told Barbara that she wants to focus on Jace, but there were a lot of other things going on in her life, too. Like her pregnancy!
However, Barbara still allowed Jenelle to take Jace for an entire weekend. This is such a huge change from the past, and it shows that Barbara is starting to trust Jenelle as a mom once again. Maybe one day we will even see Jace back in Jenelle’s custody full time!
Over the weekend Jenelle got a phone call from Nathan, and he told her that he had gotten to take a shower with actual shower curtains and that there were even a couple of TVs in the prison. Jenelle told Nathan that his dog, Moogan, made a mess in the house the other night and she did not know how much longer she could put up with his dog. She said that she might have to put the Moogan in boarding while he’s gone.
Oh no, don’t do that, Jenelle!
Chelsea Learns About Adam’s Recent Charges & Potential Jail Time
On the ride home from picking Aubree up, Chelsea tried to correct her daughter for wearing her seatbelt wrong. That’s when Aubree told Chelsea that she always wore her seatbelt like that — incorrectly — when she was in the car with her dad, Adam Lind. This not only infuriated Chelsea, it terrified her — especially because Adam had just totalled in his car in a horrific accident.
Even worse? When Chelsea asked who was driving the car for her dad Aubree said Taylor Halbur, his girlfriend, was the one behind the wheel. Phew.
The next day, Randy called Chelsea to tell her that he completed a search of the South Dakota judicial system and obtained a copy of Adam’s updated charges. It was Randy who discovered that Adam was charged with reckless driving, a revoked license, a suspended license, having an unregistered car and he had no insurance.
Then, Randy said the judge waived Adam’s two-year prison sentence for his recent DUI as long as he did not commit another misdemeanor — he just committed five in his recent accident. Does that mean jail is in Adam’s future now, too?
Kailyn Celebrates her 22nd Birthday
While Kailyn Lowry was at the hair salon, she told her colorist, Gigi about the dinner she, Javi, Jo and Vee had the other week. Kailyn said Issac deserved to have everyone get along and she really loved Vee. She told Gigi that everyone was laughing and having a good time at dinner. It took her more effort to hate Vee than to just be happy.
Later, Javi walked into the hair salon and Kailyn wondered where Lincoln was because she needed to feed him. Javi said that there was some miscommunication on his part. Kailyn told Javi he did not have common sense and that she was going out to eat for her birthday with her friends. She did not know what he had planned for the evening.
That night, Kailyn arrived at her birthday dinner with Lincoln. One of her friends causally mentioned that the waitress forgot to put mint in her mojito because it was the most important part. This little comment spurred a discussion about Kailyn and how this was the first birthday that she was not pregnant and she was legal. The group suggested that they go to a club after dinner and Kailyn agreed after some convincing.
HollywoodLifers, do you think Leah and Jeremy will go to couple’s therapy or do you think they are headed for a divorce? Do you think Jenelle will ever get custody of Jace again? Let us know!
