Jennifer Huston: Missing Oregon Wife & Mother-Of-Two Found Dead

Wed, August 6, 2014 9:37am EST by 10 Comments

Sad news today for the family of Jennifer Huston. The body of the missing mother of two was discovered almost two weeks after she disappeared, along with her SUV, near a dirt road on private property.

Jennifer Huston, 38, was best known to her family and friends as a dedicated wife and mother. When she disappeared without a trace on July 24 her husband, Kallen Huston, publicly pleaded for her to return home to their family. Unfortunately, her body was discovered about 30 minutes from where she lived with her husband and their two children, ages 2 and 6, in Dundee, Oregon. So sad.

Jennifer Huston’s Body Discovered After Missing For 12 Days

It was the news no one in Jennifer’s family wanted to hear: her body has been found.

On the morning of Aug. 5, Vern Clemmers discovered a green Lexus SUV on a secondary driveway on his private property. When he told his wife, Charlotte Clemmers, about the mysterious SUV parked on their land, she claims she knew exactly who it belonged to and immediately called the police.

UPDATE: Jennifer Huston, 38: Missing Mom’s Cause Of Death Revealed — Suicide

Jennifer’s body was discovered about 50 yards away from her SUV on Vern’s private property wearing the same clothes she was described to be wearing when she went missing. Police do not believe any foul play was involved in Jennifer’s death.

UPDATE: Jennifer Huston’s Mysterious Death: Did Missing Mom Not Want To Be Found?

Vern told a FOX 12 reporter that he believed Jennifer’s car had been there for several days before he found it because the grass she drove over to get onto his property no longer looked disturbed. He also confirmed that the driveway was blocked off by a rope that was still in place, which leads him to believe Jennifer may have opened the rope to drive through and then closed it off again so that no one would notice.

Jennifer leaves behind her husband, Kallen, and their two sons ages 2 and 6. So sad.

Jennifer May Have Purchased Pills Before Vanishing

The timeline surrounding Jennifer’s disappearance is very clear up until a certain point. She originally left her home to run errands, and 30 minutes later a surveillance video filmed her filling her gas tank at a Circle K gas station.

Another surveillance video showed Jennifer entering a Rite-Aid near her home, which is where she allegedly purchased three things: Gatorade, a package of trail mix and over-the-counter sleeping pills, reports CBS News.

However, the report claims that Jennifer allegedly bought a non-lethal dosage of pills.

Police have yet to confirm how Jennifer died, but autopsy results are expected to be revealed in just a few days.

Our thoughts go out to Jennifer’s husband, children, and additional family and friends at this difficult time.

Your grammar is very disturbing. It’s really embarrassing that someone can live in the US and create a “sentence” of that nature. Otherwise, did you bother to read the article? Can you read? The contents of the article clearly state that there was no foul play, and that she had purchased a large amount of prescription pills. You can’t write or read. Please educate yourself.

I am sorry, I haven’t read the whole thread, but yours got my attention. On the article they mention she bought over-the-counter sleep aids and not in lethal amount, they’re not prescribed pills. You find them at any local groceries stores. My daughter just attempted suicide taking them (100 of 25mg) and I decided to see what information people are giving online about it. She survived I am feel blessed. The paramedics that took her said if she had taken the ibuprofen jar, would have been more dangerous. This is just all scary to me.

Knew this was not going to end well. I’m thinking if you take a whole box of over the counter sleeping pills, that will be fatal.

I doubt she just decided in a moment to commit suicide. First, her husband said nothing was unusual but for her headaches over a period of 3 days. Then, it was reported that he said she was acting “erratically” that day before she left. I wonder if they argued, if she kissed her babies, “Goodbye”?
I found it a bit suspicious that when the husband and her father were interviewed before she was located, neither seemed worry that someone else might be involved in her disappearance or that she was a victim of foul play. The father supposed she went for a walk, some unforeseen circumstance took place, and she was “unable” to return home. The husband pleaded for her to come home. These statements sound to me like they knew, in advance, she was troubled.
I can’t believe she did this to her children!

If you want to say she is mentally ill: I had a family member who was mentally ill, and unfortunately the current “systems in place” are horrible. Also, proving someone’s incompetence and taking control or guardianship over them can be an extremely lengthy and difficult process through the courts. This woman was able to have 3 kids, raise them for a little while to be healthy, and at least make the appearance of being somewhat competent. It isn’t that easy to just commit someone.
