Taylor Schilling rocked some amazing makeup at her panel discussion for ‘Orange Is The New Black’ at the Director’s Guild of America in Los Angeles on August 4. Lucky for you, we found out exactly how to get her fresh-faced look. Read below to learn how!
Makeup artist Georgie Eisdell worked her magic on beautiful actress Taylor Schilling, 30, of the hit Netflix series Orange Is The New Black. Taylor sported super even skin, a light blush, and some dramatic eye shadow and brows. Her dark eyes popped against her plum dress, making her look very elegant. We’ve got the exact products you need to mimic her look below!
Taylor Schilling At ‘OITNB’ Panel — Her Makeup Artist Tells All About Her Look
To start off, Georgie used a moisturizer, eye cream, and then a foundation that perfectly matched Taylor’s skin tone in order to even out and hydrate her face and create a clean palette for the rest of her makeup.
“I wanted Taylor’s makeup to be simple yet have a certain strength about it. I kept her skin, cheeks and lips light focusing on her eyes and brows,” Georgie told us.
Here’s how to get the exact look:
“I prepped Taylor’s skin with La Prairie “Platinum Rare” Cellular Eye Cream and moisturized with Chanel Sublimage La Creme Texture Supreme.
Evening out her skin tone with Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet Smooth Effect Makeup SPF 15, I then lightly powdered with La Mer “The Powder.”
I added a little color to the cheeks using Tom Ford’s Beauty Cheek Color in Love Lust.
I wanted Taylor’s brows to be really structured and groomed so I used Tom Ford Brow Sculptor in Taupe, extending her brows slightly to really open up the eye and elongate the eye area.
On Taylor’s eyes, I first applied Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow in Bone all over the lid so I had a smooth even color on the lid.
I used MAC Fluidline Eyeliner Gel in Macroviolet, creating a cat eye and then I went in with Chanel Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Amethyst to make it a deep rich plum, blending it up ever so slightly to get a smudged effect. I finished off the eye with one layer of YSL Faux Cils Mascara in Black and one layer of YSL Faux Cils in Deep Purple.
I finished off her look with Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Satisfaction.”
After seeing Taylor makeup-less in Orange Is The New Black for so long, we love getting to see her all glammed up!
