It looks like Vin Diesel is back to his joking again! In this hilarious yet horrible rendition of Sam Smith’s ‘Stay With Me,’ Vin attempts to capture the essence of the crooner’s vocals, all the while crashing and burning. Vin Diesel has been known to do karaoke covers of songs, so this was nothing new.
While promoting his latest flick, Guardians of the Galaxy, Vin Diesel, 47, agreed to sing Sam Smith‘s hit “Stay With Me” for British radio station Capital FM. In the past, the star has done covers of Katy Perry‘s “Dark Horse,” Rihanna‘s “Stay” and Beyoncé’s “Drunk on Love.” Watch the video and let us know what you think of his skills, and read on for Sam’s reaction!
Vin Diesel’s ‘Stay With Me’ Cover & Sam Smith’s Reaction To Vin’s Rendition
Sam, 22 was totally fanboying out when he found out that Vin Diesel did a cover of his song. “First of all I thought it was going to be good, but when I heard it it’s the most hilarious thing I’ve heard in my life. It’s amazing. Brilliant. The falsetto!” Sam told Capital FM.
“It’s so weird for me because i remember watching xXx when I was like 11 years old! I definitely think we should do a duet one day, it would be amazing.”
