Stephen Colbert asked James to weigh in on the fight between Justin and Orlando on ‘The Colbert Report’ on July 30, and the actor definitely didn’t hold back! James didn’t have a single nice thing to say about the Biebs in the new interview — watch the video right here!
Justin Bieber, 20, may be a very charitable guy, but a lot of celebrities are losing respect for the “As Long As You Love Me” singer after his shocking fight with Orlando Bloom, 37, at Cipriani restaurant in Ibiza, Spain on July 30. Even James Franco, who spoke about the incident on The Colbert Report on July 30, shared his disdain for the Biebs!
James Franco On Justin Bieber’s Fight: Actor’s Diss On ‘Colbert Report’
In an epic six-minute interview that covered James’ teaching, his new movie Child of God, and his plans for kids and marriage, Stephen took a moment to ask, “Speaking of relationships, where do you come down on this whole Bieber/Orlando Bloom situation? Where do you think? You know those guys.”
“I’m Team Bloom, I gotta say,” James quickly replied.
We’re not totally surprised by James’ response, which was met by loud cheers from the audience. After all, this isn’t the first time that he’s dissed Justin.
On Jan. 8, 2013, James and his Spring Breakers co-star Ashley Benson released a parody of Justin’s hit song “Boyfriend.” James put the video on his WhoSay account, but later deleted it.
“I was asked to take it down by some people,” James told E! at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. “Bieber didn’t contact me, but I don’t think he was too happy. I wasn’t trying to diss him.”
We have a feeling Justin won’t be too pleased with James this time around, either!
Justin Bieber & Orlando Bloom Fight — Stars Take Sides
We have to mention, though, that James isn’t the only celebrity speaking out about the fight.
Alyssa Milano, Stephan Amell and Montel Williams all posted negative tweets about Justin, while Cody Simpson came to his defense in a new interview on Australia’s The Morning Show.
“Obviously we’re all young and he gets himself into some stuff sometimes,” Cody said. “He’s a person I’d go to for everything. He’s like a big brother. He has the world in his hands as he does a lot of good as well. I’ve got all good things to say.”
We have to ask — what do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Are you #TeamBloom or #TeamBieber? Vote!
