Yay! Sarah Drew has just announced that she is pregnant — just like her ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ character, April. How exciting!
Sarah Drew, 33, is ready to give birth to her second child. The expectant mom and her husband, Peter Lanfer, will welcome their second child in late 2014. How will this affect — or better yet, enhance — Sarah’s storyline on Grey’s Anatomy?
Sarah Drew Pregnant With Second Child — Congrats
Best news ever!
As you may remember, at the end of season ten, Sarah’s character revealed that she was pregnant with her on-screen husband, Jesse Williams’, baby.
Now, Sarah has confirmed that she is also pregnant in real life!
Peter and I are delighted to announce our pregnancy,” Sarah told People in a statement. “We can’t wait to introduce Micah to his little brother or sister.”
On June 28, Sarah posted a picture of herself wearing a flowing top — clearly trying to hide the first sight of a baby bump!
Sarah and her husband Peter gave birth to their first child, a son, in Jan. 2012. The couple wed in 2002, and this will be their second child. How exciting!
Could Sarah Allow Her Newborn On ‘Grey’s?
Sarah’s real-life pregnancy gives her a major advantage while filming the 11th season.
Instead of having to wear a fake baby bump, Sarah will be able to just flaunt her own!
Also, if they decide to show April’s birth during the season, Sarah could always use her own newborn baby to film the scene. Wouldn’t that be exciting?
