So awesome! ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ took home the top honor at the Young Hollywood Awards on July 27, beating ’22 Jump Street,’ ‘The Hunger Games,’ and more for Favorite Flick!
The Fault In Our Stars, starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort, squashed the competition and won “Favorite Flick” at the 2014 Young Hollywood Awards on July 27. Ansel, who was on hand to accept awards for “Best On-Screen Couple” with Shailene and the “Fan Favorite Actor,” proudly took hold of the trophy at The Wiltern Theater in L.A!
‘The Fault In Our Stars’ Wins Favorite Flick Award
The Fault In Our Stars beat out five other nominees for “Favorite Flick,” including 22 Jump Street, Divergent, The Hunger Games, Maleficent, and X-Men: Days of Future Past. Of course, we’re not going to argue with the results. We felt that the movie was “a love story you’ll never forget.”
HollywoodLife.com’s Emily Longeretta reviewed The Fault In Our Stars and said, “[this] love story is extremely precious — more than I’ve seen in a long time. Their love story is true and realistic. He’s a straightforward boy and she calls him out on his seemingly cocky comments.”
With positive reviews, a stellar cast, and a phenomenal story, it’s obvious why this movie took the top honor at the 2014 Young Hollywood Awards, and we love that Ansel was on hand to accept it!
See the full winners list and be sure to tune in to the Young Hollywood Awards on Monday, July 28 at 8/7c on The CW to see all the action go down!
