Dylan O’Brien Wins Breakthrough Actor Award At Young Hollywood Awards
Dylan is the next big thing in Hollywood, that’s for sure. After a wildly successful few days in San Diego for Comic-Con to promote Teen Wolf and his next film, The Maze Runner, Dylan headed straight to Los Angeles to pick up a new award!
In the past year, Dylan has shown that he not only has the comedic chops, but dramatic ones as well. Season three of Teen Wolf featured Stiles being possessed by a nogitsune and Dylan had to play a truly diabolical character. His turn as dark Stiles astounded audiences and gave fans even more reason to love him.
Dylan also made a huge impact on the big screen in 2013’s The Internship. Alongside comedy pros, Owen Wilson, 45, and Vince Vaughn, 44, Dylan proved he could still bring the laughs.
Dylan O’Brien Takes The Lead In ‘The Maze Runner’
Dylan’s upcoming flick, The Maze Runner, is sprinting into theaters Sept. 19. Dylan takes on the lead role of Thomas, who finds himself trapped in a maze and desperate to escape.
While mostly noted for being Tyler Posey’s, 22, sidekick on Teen Wolf, Dylan is taking charge in his latest film, which will join the ranks of The Hunger Games and Divergent in terms of teen dystopian flicks. We can’t wait!
We’re so excited for the Young Hollywood Awards! Stay tuned for all of our coverage, including an exclusive interview with Dylan! The show airs Monday, July 28 at 8/7c on The CW!
