Jack is back! The pirate will set sail for an all-new Pirates of the Caribbean movie in 2017, according to Variety.

Pirates of the Caribbean 5 is set to hit theaters on July 7, 2017. The highly-anticipated follow-up to Pirates of Caribbean: On Stranger Tides will feature Johnny Depp’s Jack in another swashbuckling adventure.

When the new film comes out, it will have been six years since the last Pirates movie.

The film is rumored to feature another A-list star, Christoph Waltz. Geoffrey Rush, Jack Davenport and Keith Richards are also rumored to reprise their roles for the fifth movie.

The odds were in our favor for a new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. The four previous films have grossed more than $3 billion worldwide.

The film is reportedly titled Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

There’s no word yet as to whether this will be the last adventure for Jack Sparrow. (Probably not because he is going to live forever.) If it is, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann better make an appearance!

HollywoodLifers, are you excited about the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie? What adventure should Jack go on next? Let us know!
