I have nothing against this guy at all, but there really is no way to verify that he actually made 50 million dollars playing poker. He really hasn’t performed well in WSOP events, winning a total of 36k, so it seems like a stretch to believe he is all of a sudden an ace poker player in private games, winning 50 million dollars. Probably more likely that his money comes from a trust fund, which he has stated that his brother and himself have. More power to him. If one is trying to maintain an image, it certainly behooves to say they got the money by earning it from playing poker, as opposed to saying that daddy just gave it to them.

What the WSOP says is just events played at the WSOP. He can play cash anywhere else and what he wins is only known by him and the people at that table/casino. also Playing cash and tourneys are 2 completely different styles of gameplay aswell so you can be decent at tournaments and baller at cash. I know people who are tournament players and people who are mainly cash players.
