That’s the end of that. A new report claims that Phaedra Parks is cutting ties with her criminal husband, Apollo Nida, for the sake of their children. Do you think she’s doing the right thing?
Phaedra Parks is making a very big decision now that her husband, Apollo Nida, has been sentenced to eight years in prison: it’s time to let him go. An insider has revealed that Phaedra would have divorced him already if it weren’t for their kids, and now she knows it’s time to finally pull the plug on their marriage for good.
Phaedra Parks Will Leave Husband Apollo Nida
Prison must be the final straw as far as Phaedra is concerned.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is preparing to leave her husband, Apollo, now that he has been convicted of convicted of federal bank fraud and identity theft.
“If they never started a family, she would have filed for divorce long ago,” an insider told InTouch Weekly‘s July 28 issue. “But this is going to push Phaedra to act quickly.”
Phaedra has two small children with Apollo: Ayden, 3, and Dylan, 14 months. Now that Apollo is in prison for the next eight years, by the time he gets out his children will be completely unrecognizable to him at 11 and 9 years old.
If Phaedra wants to divorce, now is the best time. TMZ is reporting that Apollo has to repay $1.9 million in restitution, and something tells us Phaedra does not want to get tied up in that financial mess — especially because she has two small children to take care of all by herself for the next decade.
However, she was fully aware that he was a bit of a troublemaker when she married him in Nov. 2009 — shortly after he was released after being in jail for six years for stealing cars.
Tell us, HollywoodLifers — Do you think Phaedra should divorce Apollo now that he’s in jail? Should she stick it out and stay by his side? Let us know your thoughts below.
