Check out our full recap of tonight’s Teen Wolf below!
‘Teen Wolf’ Recap: Scott Tries His Hand At Kidnapping
Well, the hot, shirtless wendigo who nearly killed Liam and was a gross cannibal was officially dead. (It’s always a sad day in Beacon Hills when one less shirtless guy will be seen.) Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) surveyed the crime scene with Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby). Derek knew this wasn’t an individual incident because he could smell the blood of someone young and male up on the roof.
That youngblood just so happened to be Liam, who was currently MIA. Stiles ran over to Scott’s about Liam’s whereabouts and Scott had it taken care of — sort of. As Scott put it, Liam was “lying down,” but he was really just bound and left in the bathtub.
Stiles was stunned at Scott’s plan of attack. He’d bit Liam and now he’d kidnapped him. Not exactly a great start for Scott. That’s when Stiles took over control. The boys set Liam up for a little chat. Stiles is such a good little interrogator, just like his dad. Stiles said a lot of “confused things” had happened and things were about to get so much more complicated. “It’s going to save you or it’s going to kill you,” Stiles simply put it.
Since Stiles and Scott were scaring the living daylights out of Liam, he started to cry. He sounded like such a little puppy; it was almost too adorable. (It was.) Liam was tricking them so he could hit Scott with a chair and punch Stiles in the face to escape. Unfortunately, he didn’t get too far. They tackled him and took a tumble down the stairs. However, the trickster fooled them again and when Stiles and Scott thought they had Liam, they were only wrestling themselves.
‘Teen Wolf’ Recap: Gifts Of Major Magnitude
Meanwhile at the loft, Peter (Ian Bohen) didn’t exactly get the best introduction to the Mute Man. Why you ask? He was stabbed by the Mute Man with a tomahawk! On his creepy mouthpiece, Mute Man uttered, “Don’t worry, Peter. Derek is next.” (Um, no please.)
The full moon was going to be coming out soon and Stiles was working constraints on Malia. Sheriff Stilinski made an awkward appearance and he totally got the 50 Shades of Grey impression from the fact that Malia was being restrained by Stiles. Malia didn’t get the reference and it was adorable.
Lydia (Holland Roden) was trying to crack that insane code that she’d been obsessed with. It legit looked like someone ran their fingers over the keyboard for 24 straight hours. Lydia’s mom handed her the keys to the lake house and told her not to break anything or else she would add on to her credit card debt.
As Garrett (Mason Dye), Violet (Samantha Logan) and Mason (Khylin Rhambo) headed to school, Liam showed up looking extra flustered. He looked liked he was about straight up vomit, but I would be too if I saw my kidnapper starring at me from afar. Liam didn’t get too far before Scott and Stiles cornered him again. “We’re brothers now,” Scott told Liam. Liam — or Baby Beta, as I like to say — didn’t understand all of this overwhelming bombshells Scott kept throwing on him. ‘We just met and you bit me,” Liam said, like it was straight out of Pre-K. “The bite is a gift,” Scott replied to Liam’s worry.
Scott warned Liam that something big was about to happen tonight, but Baby Beta said that was impossible because his arm was completely healed!
Scott and the gang had to figure out a way to get Liam to the boathouse before the full moon. Lydia had the bright idea of using Kira’s (Arden Cho) female foxiness to woo Liam, but it was Kira clumsiness that really caught Liam’s attention. As she walked down the school stairs in that ethereal slo-mo walk, she tripped Lizzie McGuire style. Liam rushed to her side and she invited him to the “party” the older kids were having.
On the way to the party, Liam started to freak out over the sound of the music. Scott and Stiles also uncovered the reason why Liam was kicked out of his last school. He had taken a crowbar to his teacher’s car. Baby Beta had anger issues, that’s for sure.
‘Teen Wolf’ Recap: Law & Order: Beacon Hills Edition
When they arrived, Liam was wondering where the party was. The gang was there for a wolf-intervention with Baby Beta. They explained what they all were — werewolf, were-coyote, kitsune and banshee.
“What are you?” Liam asks Stiles.
“For awhile, I was possessed by an evil spirit,” he replied. “What are you now?” Liam asked. “Better,” Stiles said. No, Stiles. You’re a perfect angel sent from heaven who is quirky, awkward and downright adorable.
All this new and confusing knowledge was tripping Liam out. Plus, the gang had a bigger problem. Liam had told Mason about the party and he invited EVERYONE. Unfortunately, this was the exact moment Liam started to turn. (Ruh roh.)
Malia was in the same boat as Liam and Stiles was helping restrain her. Lydia had to play hostess and actually throw the party, much to her dismay.
Back over with the best buddy cop show we’ll never get to see, Derek and the Sheriff were figuring out what they could about this Benefactor. The Benefactor was being paid for his killings, which meant he was an assassin. They also had the Mute Man’s talking device and were trying to put all the pieces together.
As they tried to restrain Liam, he got loose. He almost attacked Scott, but Kira knocked him out cold. Scott vowed to help Liam, even if he didn’t want it.
Stiles managed to chain Malia up as she transitioned into a were-coyote. Malia wanted him to leave and head to the party, but Stiles wanted to stay by his new lady love. Malia was worried she’d hurt him. Stiles trusted her enough to know she wouldn’t. (My heart is melting.)
Lydia was distressed at an insane bill for a beer keg. Thankfully, Garrett was on deck to hand over the cash to the delivery guy. As this seemingly innocent dude was walking back to his car, he started transitioning into a werewolf. He was then strangled and decapitated by Violet, Garrett’s girlfriend! Once she returned inside, Garrett got a text from the Benefactor saying the money had been transferred. MIND. BLOWN.
‘Teen Wolf’ Recap: Creatures Of Habit
In yet another one of Lydia’s weird encounters, after she followed Mason upstairs, she came across a room that let in no sound. She couldn’t even hear the words Mason was saying. Once Lydia started playing a mysterious record player in the room, faces started coming out from the walls.
Over at the boating dock, Scott and Kira got cute as they watched Liam. They started slow dancing and kissing and not watching Baby Beta at all. Liam broke out from his chains and fled.
Malia was about to lose control too, but Stiles was by her side. After a heartfelt speech about feeling powerful and in control, he unlocked her chains! And as she reached for Stiles, she was no longer a were-coyote.
Derek and Sheriff Stilinski headed to the school after tracing the phone signal from the Benefactor. There was blood coming out from one of the classrooms, but it was filled with explosives. Mute Man threw his crazy tomahawk at the Sheriff, but Derek pulled him out of the way. These two managed to get Mute Man under arrest, but Peter was not going to let it end there. Peter killed the Mute Man without blinking.”I’m a creature of habit,” he said.
As Scott searched for Liam, Baby Beta pounced on him. He nearly clawed Scott’s face off before Papa Argent (JR Bourne) saved the day (!). Scott ran after Liam, who was frantic about this monumental change in his life. He didn’t want to be seen as a monster anymore, like he was at his last school. Scott assured him that he wasn’t a monster. “You’re a werewolf,” he said. “Like me.” (Cue all the cheers.)
Still wondering what Lydia was doing in that panic room? She heard the key to breaking the code she’d been obsessing over. When she typed in Allison’s (RIP) name, it was a list of all the supernaturals in Beacon Hills. But it wasn’t just a list. It was a death pool. Plus, the Benefactor is on to them, which means the gang is facing major trouble.
HollywoodLifers, what did you think of tonight’s Teen Wolf? Are you excited for Liam to be a beta? How adorable are Stiles and Malia? What the heck is that death list about? Let us know!
