This rings in an all-new era for the comic world, as this female protagonist is targeted primarily toward the female audience which is largely ignored by comic book writers and other comic book fans alike.
“This is not She-Thor. This is not Lady Thor. This is not Thorita. This is THOR. This is the THOR of the Marvel Universe. But it’s unlike any Thor we’ve ever seen before,” Jason Aaron added to the View press release.
Thor is the eighth title from Marvel featuring a female as the protagonist — looks like Captain Marvel will have some friendly competition coming her way!
