Drake has announced the title of his upcoming album, and now we’re just left to wonder… will he be calling Rihanna out on it? Find out the title below!
Drake, 27, is one busy man these days, and a new album is just the tip of the iceberg. On July 16, he’ll be hosting the ESPY’s on ESPN, and this August, he’ll be co-headlining a tour with Lil Wayne. Furthermore, his record label, OVO Sound, will be putting out its first two projects very soon — one of which is PARTYNEXTDOOR‘s PARTYNEXTDOOR Two, on which Drizzy lends his vocals on “Recognize,” where it seems like he’s singing about Rihanna! Read on to find out the title of Drake’s newest album, and tell us if you think that any of the songs will be about Queen RiRi!
Drake’s New Album: ‘Views From The 6’ — Will He Call Out Rihanna On It?
Drake’s next album will be called Views From The 6, and many believe that it’s an homage to his hometown of Toronto. However, considering Drake’s recent troubles in the romance department, we’re not so sure that the whole album will be a loving tribute to Canada.
RiRi & Drake split in May following a turbulent few months in which they barely saw each other due to Drake’s commitment to his hustle. On his song “2 On/Thotful,” he clearly dissed Rihanna when he rapped, “You’re so bad girl you’re so awful. I f*ck you right in my office … We’re not in this for commitment.”
Hey, maybe it’s just a coincidence that it was released around the same time that they broke up…
Drake Has Not Started Recording ‘Views From The 6’
In any case, a release date has not yet been set for Drake’s fourth studio album — he hasn’t even started recording it yet! Considering all of the projects he’s juggling at once, it’s no surprise that he hasn’t been able to lay down any tracks.
So, HollywoodLifers, are you looking forward to Views From The 6? Do you think that Drake will open fire on Rihanna, or will he leave exclusive girlfriends out of it and rap about random girls, as usual? Let us know!
