Selena Gomez Calls Out A Fan On Instagram For Bullying
We have never been more proud of Selena. The singer/actress took a stand on Instagram on July 12 in a very bold way. Selena called out a fan for bullying!
After a “fan” began bullying on one of Selena’s Instagram photos, Selena called her out on her awful behavior. Selena posted her response to the “fan’s” photo on her own personal Instagram.
Here’s what Selena’s post said:
“The comment you left about cancer was absurd. How distasteful of young woman. I have gone through that battle with fans and family members. You can dislike someone but to wish something that could happen to you or your family is uncalled for sweetheart. You won’t be winning ‘anyone’s’ heart that way. Trust me. Educate yourself a tad more. God bless love. Be an amazing woman. You’re beautiful.”
Selena’s caption to the post read, “Honestly, I don’t speak up much because it’s simply *always* taken out of context. But I don’t take bullying well. I have seen too much to not say anything.”
There are no words for Selena’s strong message. She is such a role model to young girls and women everywhere. She is an inspiration in both the music and film industry.
Before she called out a fan for bullying, Selena spent time with Spring Breakers director Harmony Korine in Miami. She captioned an Instagram photo, “Day 2 x harmony x Miami.”
Selena posted very mysterious photos with Harmony and throwback pics with the cast, which sparked the idea that maybe they were talking up a Spring Breakers sequel?
Selena’s brave and bold comment to a vicious fan just proves that she doesn’t need a man. She’s strong and stands up for what’s right on her own.
