Prince George Covers ‘Vanity Fair’ — 1st Birthday Issue
Well, well, well! That’s an awfully familiar face on the cover of Vanity Fair’s Aug. 2014 issue, isn’t it?
That’s because it is our favorite royal, Prince George! The handsome little guy graces his first-ever magazine cover in honor of his first birthday, which is July 22.
George is joined by his parents in a candid shot from their trip to New Zealand and Australia in April 2014. However, the precious photo shows the prince smiling at his dad, Prince William, who is leaned over so that he can be on the same eye level as his son.
Holding the prince is his stunning mom, Kate, who is also smiling big as she carefully cradles her little boy in her arms.
The magazine cover claims to reveal new details about little George’s life, down to his eating habits and nighttime mood swings. Even though these don’t sound all that appealing, we just LOVE having new information about the little prince!
Prince George Was a Permanently Hungry Baby, Was Fussy Until Solid Foods
Inside Vanity Fair‘s tribute to Prince George, we learn even more about his extremely private life at Kensington Palace with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
A royal insider has revealed private details about George, especially his first few months of life as a newborn. Apparently, the chubby-cheeked baby sure loved to eat!
“[Former] Nanny Jessie Webb tried hard to get him into a routine, but the baby prince, who was still breastfeeding, was permanently hungry. Nicholl reveals that it was only in the new year, when Kate introduced solids, that George finally slept through the night.”
The magazine also reveals that Kate was extremely relieved when her baby boy did not act up during the family’s 3-week long tour of New Zealand and Australia. In fact, much to her surprise, he acted like a polite little prince the whole time!
