Jessica Simpson, 33, looked more amazing than ever in the days leading up to her July 5 wedding to football player Eric Johnson, 34, and it was partially due to her strict vegan diet, according to Us Weekly. Jessica used the diet for two weeks before her wedding to shed a few extra pounds even after her reported 60 pound weight loss earlier this year.

Every girl dreams about looking perfect on their big day, and it turns out that this is what ultimately helped Jessica stick to her strict diet and exercise plan. Her goal was to fit into her wedding dress and feel amazing in it!
Jessica is also the face of Weight Watchers and it was their program that helped her lose 60 pounds of baby weight after the birth of her son, Ace, in June 2013. But just before the big day, she kicked it up a notch.
Wedding Crunch Time — Vegan Diet Two Weeks Before
While 60 pounds is a crazy feat already, Jessica didn’t stop there! A source told Us Weekly that Jessica went vegan two weeks prior to her wedding in order to slim down a little bit more and get off any possible excess pounds.
The vegan diet takes a lot of dedication but it totally paid off for Jessica! She looked hot, hot, hot for her wedding day and was seen showing off super toned legs and arms in the days before. We’re loving this healthy and toned look on Jessica and we wish her and her new hubby all the best.
