Viva Las Vegas! From magicians to BMX bikers, we loved watching some of our favorite auditions. Before the best acts head to boot camp, check out the incredible vocals and dangerous stunts.
“I’m excited for season nine now,” said Howard Stern. That pretty much summarizes this season of America’s Got Talent! The auditions are over, but we can’t get enough of Heidi Klum getting her flirt on with two tap-dancing brothers, among the other must-watch moments! Are you ready for the next round, HollywoodLifers?
‘America’s Got Talent’ — Refresh Yourself With The Best Auditions
It’s hard to believe that the auditions are already over, but to celebrate, here’s a little refresher on what you’ve seen on America’s Got Talent so far!
The Willis Clan, a musical family of twelve siblings, with kids from ages three to 21, came out and harmonized to the song, “My Favorite Things!” Yes, yes and another yes for them!
Howie Mandel helped David and Leeman with their magic act — the two took Howie’s abilities to read away with just the touch of their fingers.
“If I had to define passion, it’s the sound of your voice,” Howie told contestant Julie Goodwin. The judges loved her and she would have definitely made Billy Joel proud singing “New York State of Mind.”
Sean & Luke brought tap dancing to a whole new level — they added their own hip-hop flair to it! The teenage dancers had all the girls on their feet — we know Heidi was loving it! However, Howard was not a fan, he gave the boys their only “no.”
Kung Fu Master and healer Qi Feilong stopped a clock with his “energy.” Even though the act was pretty impressive, only Mel B and Howie said yes — not enough to get him through to the next round.
A group of BMX bikers, known as Real Encounter, perform some pretty intense stunts outside of the stage on huge ramps.
Slam, the basketball trick group, jumped their way from trampoline to trampoline and passed the ball amongst the teammates while in mid-air.
There were even some talented kids — a set of triplets, Dom The Bom’s Triple Threat, took the stage and shocked the judges, followed by magician Mad Jack who made Howard help him with a card trick and it consisted of Howard pulling a card out of Jack’s butt! Yep, you read that right! Don’t worry — Howard ended up using tongs.
Singer and guitarist Miguel Dakota dropped out of college and wants to be able to provide for his family, especially since their dad left them. Before the act even started, the girls were screaming for him. He sang “Too Close,” and the crowd loved it. He’s got the looks, he sings, he works hard and he loves his mother — he’s the whole package!
The most creative act yet, Aerial Animation, young aerialist Abigail incorporated an animated screen and music to her very unique performance. We almost forgot how breath-taking it was!
Salsa dancers John & Andrew impressed the judges with their effortless dance skills and fast moving steps. Boy, did they show us how to salsa! “Doesn’t that make you want to dance?” Mel B stated and we couldn’t have agreed with her more. Howie and Howard even got up on stage at the end to show off their salsa skills.
There you have it, HollywoodLifers! Let us know what’s been your favorite audition this entire season!
