There’s one thing you can ALWAYS count on with Justin Bieber — he loves his fans. After 24-year-old Belieber Alicia Tamboia died in a car accident on July 5, fans started a worldwide twitter trend to remember her. Justin noticed — and acted!
Alicia Tamboia, a Justin Bieber mega-fan from Wingdale, New York, passed away in a multi-vehicle car accident on the night of July 4. The next day, fellow fans of the Biebs heard her story and started to trend #RIPAlicia on Twitter in her honor. What happened next was VERY sweet.

When news spread about Alicia’s death, fans who had met her at Justin’s concerts and meet and greets started to share their experiences with Alicia. Thousands of people who had never met her shared the hashtag #RIPAlicia with photos of Alicia and Justin — she’d snapped pics with the star at several of his meet and greets!
And then, Justin noticed. And in the super-early morning hours of July 6, he tweeted:
“#RIPAlicia” to his 52.7 million Twitter followers. Fans were beyond thrilled that Justin honored Alicia in such a public way.

Alicia was a 2008 high school graduate — and a passionate Justin Bieber fan, according to her social media accounts.
Alicia had just tweeted about Justin last on June 26 with a picture collage. She posted about her favorite singer all the time! In May, Alicia even tweeted an email she had sent to her coworkers on her last day at work. She had signed off her goodbye email with, “When you hear Justin Bieber, I hope you think of me.”
What a very sad situation — our thoughts are with Alicia’s family and friends.
We think it’s very sweet that Justin took the time out to honor Alicia — it truly says a lot about his devotion to those who support him!
